The Syrian Democratic Forces along with the international coalition swept the adjacent neighborhoods of al-Sina’a prison in search of any ISIS sleeper cells.

This came after the Islamic State militants attacked the prison in al-Hasaka in an attempt to free prisoners belonging to the group who had mutinied. The sweeping campaign operated military vehicles, armored vehicles, and two Apache helicopters. Civilians remained in their houses as the mutiny entered its fourth day.

Furthermore, The Syrian Democratic Forces transferred nearly 300 ISIS detainees to a prison in Qamishli via 3 buses accompanied by a number of SDF four-wheel-drive vehicles.
