Sulaimaniyah Kurds prepare for Nowruz despite the economic crisis

Kurdish textile markets flourish in the Iraqi Kurdistan region during Nowruz, which falls on March 21. Women in Sulaymaniyah sew colorful Kurdish dresses that represent the upcoming spring, to wear on this national holiday.

The economic crisis, delay in the payment of salaries, and prices hike did not prevent the Kurds of Iraq from preparing for their National Day.
