Chinese gamblers get unlucky: 7 people arrested by police

The gambler’s luck runs out for seven Chinese nationals who were arrested by police for illegal gambling.

Kratie Provincial police cracked down on the Chinese nationals on the afternoon of October 11. Police arrested the men and confiscated their paraphernalia.

The Deputy Commissioner for Criminal Planning, Lt. Col. Kun Sophorn, said that under the direction of the Provincial Police Commissioner, Gen. Lon So, Kratie Provincial Police force cooperated with Snoul District Police to crackdown at an illegal gambling location at Thnal village, Svay Chres commune, Snuol district, Kratie province. In the crackdown, police arrested seven Chinese nationals (1 female.)

The seven gamblers were sent to the police station and are being detained. They will be questioned before being sent for legal procedures.
