The notice, signed by Deputy Health Minister Nguyễn Trường Sơn on Saturday, contained new medical quarantine instructions for children under 15 in the Northern Province, which has become Vietnam’s largest COVID-19 hotspot during the fourth wave. The measure aims to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for children during the quarantine period, reduce the pressure on congested quarantine sites and prevent cross-infections. Children under the age of 15 must be quarantined for 21 days.
