According to the agreement reached between the Mongolian government and Sinopharm Group, at 3:27 pm on April 29, a COVID-19 chartered plane carrying 334,000 doses of the Chinese vaccine Verocell landed in Ulaanbaatar. The country will receive the next batch of vaccines on May 1 and 3. To date, Mongolia has received 2,094,940 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, including 214,800 doses of AstraZeneca obtained through India. Relief and COVAX facilities, 1,834,400 doses of Verocell vaccine donated and purchased from China, 20,000 doses of Sputnik-V vaccine in Russia and 25,740 doses of Pfizer BioNTech vaccine through COVAX facilities.
