Israeli police use water cannons to suppress protesters

After Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed his defense  minister, Yoav Gallant, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets across Israel.

Gallant opposes a government plan to overhaul the justice system, which would give ministers control over a committee that appoints judges.
Tel Aviv protesters set fire to the street, and police responded with water cannons.
