Taiz University holds art gallery celebrating Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day, the Center for Research, Studies, and Development of Women at Taiz University, in partnership with the General Administration of Student Activities, held an open day to celebrate International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day.

The celebration included an art gallery of paintings demonstrating the suffering of Yemeni women. Participants in the gallery said that the event comes to honor Yemeni women, emphasize their role in society, and empower them financially, socially, politically, and culturally, which will reflect positively on her and her family.
