“Planting a forest in people’s hearts” on the occasion of National Father’s Day and Thai Environment Day 2021

Office of Natural Resources and Environment, Samut Prakan Province As an agency that has continually responded to royal initiatives on forest resource conservation. It aims to conserve and develop natural resources and the environment, achieve ecological balance through the participation of all sectors, improve the quality of life of local communities, and can coexist with the forest in a supportive and sustainable manner.
“Planting a forest in the hearts of people” is a response to the principle of His Majesty the King’s royal speech. Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, who shows concern for the people of Thailand facing environmental problems. Therefore, it is the starting point in the movement of all parties. Both government agencies and the private sector have turned to work together in order to initiate conservation projects and to develop natural resources and the environment in the form of establishing organizations, foundations, clubs, and associations.
There were 250 people participating in the project and exhibitions from various agencies. Tree planting activities 500 saplings were distributed and fish were released into the Suvarnabhumi canal.
