Ballerina Daughter Inspires her Plastic Artist Mom

The Plastic Artist, Abeer Jibril inspires her paintings from her ballerina daughter dance, to reflect it on artistic panels that embody the reality of Palestinian women in general, and in Gaza Strip, in particular, and through her paintings she tries to draw the world’s attention to the issues that Gazan women suffer, and mothers of children who lived through the scourge of war in all its details, the paintings convey how strong and struggling she is, but at the same time she is bound and besieged, surrounded by a separation wall, she’s is also surrounded by social customs. Despite the siege imposed on Gaza, which prevented her from traveling outside, she was able to participate with her paintings in international exhibitions in Europe, delivering her message through art.
