Cambodian students who designed manned receive donations and praise

A donation of $ 15,000 was made by HE Heng Sour, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, Duke Leng Navatra and Duke Leng Pros to a group of Cambodia students who have constructed a remarkable flying drone.

His Excellency Heng Sour, Secretary of State, praised and encouraged the ingenuity of the students who made the drone that could carry people, and advised them to try to learn more about drone production.

Developed by students at the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia, the “NPIC Human Carrier Drone” is in the early stages of development and testing.

The drone can fly off the ground at a maximum height of 4 meters in the longest 10 minutes, with a payload of 60 kg.

Students have taken 3years and $20,000 to build the drone.

The students estimate they need at least two more years before it is ready and fully tested.
