Vietnam cancer patient dies from COVID-related complications

A woman suffering from lung cancer died as a result of COVID. It is the 58th death in Vietnam. The 64-year-old woman from Ứng Hòa district of Hà Nội was receiving chemotherapy at K Hospital in the capital when she tested positive. for SARS-CoV-2 on May 14th. He was treated for the virus, but his immune system was weak due to his medical history and he did not respond to the medication. The woman died on June 11 and her cause of death was recorded as septic shock and pneumonia from SARS-CoV-2 in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
