Vietnam: 250 new cases has been reported on Thursday

The amount of COVID-19 cases in Việt Nam has topped 8,000.

On Thursday evening, 91 new cases were detected, bringing the amount of COVID-19 cases to 8,063. During the day there were a total of 250 new cases recorded, 19 of those were quarantined after arriving in the country.

The new cases were found Kiên Giang (12), Hồ Chí Minh City (3), An Giang (3), Tây Ninh (1).

The 231 cases recorded domestically were in Bắc Giang (145), Bắc Ninh (44), Hồ Chí Minh City (30), Hà Nội (6), Lạng Sơn (3), Long An (2), and Hải Dương (1).

Since the fourth wave of the virus first broke out on April 27, there has been a total of 4,955 new cases.

A child was killed by Landmine in Tedim, Chin State, while five adults were killed in shelling by the Burmese army in Mindat, Chin State.
