Air, land and sea security patrols have been stepped up along the southern border to prevent people from illegally coming out of Malaysia, which is under full Covid-19 lockdown from June 1st to 14th. Patrols of the 5th Infantry Regiment and the 437th Border Police Unit continued investigating as migrant workers from Malaysia continue to illegally cross the border. Among them were 20 Myanmar citizens arrested on Saturday evening in Tambon Ban Phru in the Hat Yai district of Songkhla. patrol across the border in Songkhla’s districts of Sadao, Nathawi and Sabayoi.
