Pathumwan shopping is a source of Thailand’s Covid cluster

Three popular shopping malls in Bangkok’s Pathumwan district mobilized to quell public panic after authorities said there was a “group” of real estate-related coronavirus infections. On Saturday, the Covid-19 Situation Management Center (CCSA) presented a slide with a map of the Pathumwan area and a graphic of 129 infections, with arrows pointing to the three shopping malls. 129 people have been infected with Covid-19 since April, that is 0.4% of the more than 35,000 full and part-time employees who work in the properties.
