Vietnam reported 283 new local COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday lunchtime, including 274 cases in quarantine or restricted areas. The new cases include 52 in Bắc Giang Province, 20 in HCM City, six in B Province, c Ninh and three in Hà. The province of Tĩnh and one in Hà Nội. The Bắc Giang Provincial Center for Disease Control reported 201 additional cases, which were investigated in the closed areas between May 27 and 29. Most of the cases in Bắc Giang and Bắc Ninh are factory workers in quarantine areas. Among the new cases, local authorities are tracking the travel history of one case in Bắc Ninh province and another eight in HCM city.
