2,331 new cases in Thailand on Wednesday

40 more deaths from Covid-19 and 2,331 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday. 2,305 new infections were diagnosed in the general population and 26 in inmates. 4,947 in the last 24 hours. The Covid-19 patients were diagnosed as recovering and being discharged from hospitals. By April, roughly when the third wave of Covid-19 began, there were 175,732 Covid-19 patients, of whom 140,239 have recovered.
