Since the beginning of the pandemic, Thailand reported 8 more Covid-related deaths and 2,048 new cases on Monday, bringing the total to 148 and 57,508 confirmed cases. The Covid-19 Management Center stated that only 10 new cases were imported. He said that half of the eight deaths occurred in Bangkok. Bangkok reported 901 latest cases, followed by Samut Prakan (110), Chonburi (104), Nonthaburi (97) and Chiang Mai (84). The third outbreak began at the beginning of this month, with a cumulative number of 9,076 cases, almost three times the number of second place in Chiang Mai. CCSA spokesperson Apisamai Srirangson said that Bangkok will continue to report more than 500 new cases every day as health officials are actively conducting large-scale trials. The imported cases are four new immigrants from India, new immigrants from the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, China, Turkey, Hungary and Qatar.
