Sobriety Checkpoints while driving suspended – Thailand

The police once again suspended the use of checkpoints to test the driving behavior of motorists under the influence of alcohol, on the grounds that it is necessary to concentrate the proceeds to stop the spread of Covid-19.

The order was signed by the Deputy Chief of Police Pol Gen Damrongsak Kittiprapas on behalf of the Chief of National Police, and took effect on April 18.
