“Najla”: A Yazidi Woman Survivor Who Narrates Her Agony Being a Wife for an ISIS leader

The Yazidi House confirmed that a Kurdish Yazidi woman was liberated from the hands of ISIS. Najla Said Ismail fled Al Hawl camp and resorted to the women’s Protection Unit affiliated to Asayish in Hassakah. The Yazidi House has decided to send her to her family in Tal Qasab in Sinjar District. Najla, born in 1997, was kidnapped 6 years ago. The research team in the Al-Hawl camp reported that at least 200 Yazidi women and kids are still dwelling among ISIS families in the camp, whose families in Sinjar are awaiting their return.
