The tough economic crises encountered by the Meach Lengseng’s family, consisting of a husband, wife, and five children, pushed them to seek refuge in a church after the collapse of their house in their village in Kompong Speu Province, southeast Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, due to construction work of the highway. The family lived under miserable living conditions which makes Lengseng borrow money to feed his family and pay off his lost house loan.
