Tunisian Health Minister: The Vaccination Campaign is due on April

Health Minister Faouzi Mehdi in Tunisia illustrated that the Covid-19 vaccination campaign will start in April, which will cover 30% of Tunisians. He confirmed that the Ministry won’t receive any vaccines unless they were previously examined, as they should be in pursuant with the international criteria for quality. A specialized committee was formed for this regard. The Ministry signed a purchasing deal of 6 million doses of vaccines that will be received on phases. In February, 50 thousand doses will be available followed by two million doses in April along with 4 million doses from Covax also in April. The death toll due to Corona Virus during the last 24 hours has hit a new number of 98 along with 2598 new cases. The total death toll since the outbreak of Coronavirus is 5938.
