Tens of tents in a displaced camp, northern Syria, have soaked with rainwater pouring over the last two days, while other tents which are home to about 50 thousand displaced people in Al-Buhaira and Abu Hisham camps have been destroyed. The displaced said that they had been experiencing the same misery every winter for 9 years, as the rain comes and goes over their tents. The head of the “Civil Response Coordinators in Northern Syria” unit, Muhammad Hallaj, stated that the rains have flooded 108 camps in the area over the past 48 hours, and these camps lack facilities, as they turn into ponds of mud during the winter season, as the tents leak rainwater as their fabrics are worn by the heat of last summer.
