Although border crossings were shut down, Markets in Idlib have been lately flooded with various Iranian goods. Most families are against dealing with Iranian goods. Moreover, they also demanded identifying who is in charge of bringing them here. According to wholesalers, more than 30 various Iranian items are being sold in the market because of their cheap prices. The top of which are vegetables. The Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Economy in the Syrian Salvation Government, Mohamed Daaboul indicated that smugglers bring Iranian goods to Turkish warehouses, change their packages, and then smuggle them into the liberated areas. There are also smuggling routes in the areas run by the Syrian democratic forces.
