Iraq exports the first Iraqi pomegranates shipment to Britain

Hussein Hama, The spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture in the Kurdistan Government, stated that the first shipment of pomegranate was launched from Sulaymaniyah to the UK, which is estimated at approximately 50 tons, suggesting that it is a first export process within the government 2021 scheme, which covers the export of other agricultural products. He confirmed that the External Relations Officer at the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Salam Abdullah, said that the initiative helps to enable farmers to increase production and add quality to the agricultural economy in Kurdistan.
