Oil rise on positive news of COVID-19 drug study

On Wednesday, Oil rose on hopes for economic recovery and for a clinical trial showing a cheap steroid could help save some critically ill coronavirus patients but fears of a second wave of the virus curbed gains.

Brent crude LCOc1 was up 29 cents, or 0.7%, at $41.25 a barrel at 0825 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) CLc1 rose 17 cents, or 0.4%, to $38.55 a barrel.
