Turkey will not withdraw its heavy weapons from its control points in Idlib

Turkey has announced that it will not withdraw its heavy weapons from its control points in the Idlib region, northwest of Syria, while it stated that negotiations with Russia on a settlement in these lands are taking place well.

The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement issued on Friday: “The negotiations with the Russian delegation that conclude today took place in a positive and constructive atmosphere.”
