Al-Bashir refuses to deal with the International Criminal Court

Lawyer of former Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, Muhammad al-Hassan al-Amin said on Tuesday that al-Bashir refuses to deal with the International Criminal Court as a “political court” and that the Sudanese judiciary is able to handle any case.

He added, “We refuse to enter the International Criminal Court in this matter because it is a political court and not judicial, as we refuse to internationalize justice and we believe that the Sudanese judiciary has the ability and desire to consider these accusations.”
