Protests escalated again in the streets of Beirut

Thousands of demonstrators flocked to the streets of Beirut today, Saturday, and others headed towards the House of Representatives, whose surroundings witnessed clashes between protesters and riot police who were stoned with stones, chanting slogans including “the people want to topple the regime”, while the security forces erected iron barriers and barbed wire at the entrances to the House of Representatives , Before resorting to using water cannons to disperse the protesters.
