Netanyahu withdraws parliamentary immunity request, describing it as a “circus”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described in a Facebook statement that the immunity measures in Parliament would have become a “circus” and that he did not want to participate in this “dirty game”, so he would withdraw his request for parliamentary immunity from prosecution for corruption charges.
