The death of the Algerian Army Chief of Staff Ahmed Qaid Saleh

The Algerian private television channel, Al-Nahar, said that the army’s chief of staff, Ahmed Gaid Saleh, had died, while the country was witnessing political divisions over the army’s dominant role in the country.
