Lebanon seeks help from allies to secure imports

A statement issued by the office of the caretaker Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that he requested help from friendly countries – Saudi Arabia, France, Russia, Turkey, the United States, China and Egypt – to help the country secure imports of food and raw materials amid a severe shortage of dollars.
