235,000 civilians have been displaced from their homes in northwestern Syria

The United Nations has announced that 235,000 civilians have fled their homes in northwest Syria, which is under opposition control, during a Russian-backed military campaign that included air strikes and led to a wave of mass displacement that occurred from 12 to 25 December.
