Lebanese protesters clash with supporters of Hezbollah and Amal in downtown Beirut

Live broadcasts on Lebanese television showed clashes between anti-government protesters and supporters of Shi’ite Hezbollah and Amal movements in Beirut in the early hours of Monday, after tensions between the two sides closed when protesters closed a major bridge in the city center.
