Alina Habba on front lines of legal battles surrounding Trump

Alina Habba is a prominent attorney who has been one of Donald Trump’s most vocal defenders in legal battles over the past two years. Habba, who is of Chaldean Catholic descent, was born in Summit, New Jersey, and has a broad legal expertise covering corporate litigation, commercial real estate, family law, financial services, and construction-related matters. She has represented Trump in numerous lawsuits, including a $100 million lawsuit against his niece and The New York Times, and a defamation lawsuit brought against him by E. Jean Carroll. Trump’s recent indictment on charges related to payments made to Stormy Daniels has not been handled by Habba, but she has spearheaded investigations aimed at clearing his name and dismissing other lawsuits brought against him in recent years. Habba has faced criticism for comparing Trump’s legal problems to those of African American rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.
