Women resort to handicrafts for a living amid deteriorating living conditions

Handicrafts are no longer exclusive to men, as women in the coastal city of Aden to dive into this line of work due to the deteriorating living conditions as a result of the war and poor economic situation.

Women are making perfumes and incense as a source of income to secure the basic necessities for their families. Fatima Haddad is one of the women who have resorted to handicrafts due to her difficult living conditions. She makes perfumes, incense, sugar scrub and some other handicrafts for a living.
