Hundreds of Jordanians attended the funeral of prominent Jordanian opposition figure, Laith Shubailat, who died on Sunday, from a heart attack at the age of 80, in capital Amman.
MPs, trade union members, secretaries-general of parties, political figures, and activists participated in the funeral. Laith Shubailat was an opposition deputy in Jordanian parliament in 1984 and 1989, and he won the position of head of the Engineers Syndicate several times. His father was the former head of the Royal Court, Farhan Shubailat.
