As Cambodia moves towards increased use of EVs and economic recovery, fuel prices across the country continue to fall from the high prices seen during the height of the pandemic.
The price of gasoline from December 11 to 20 dropped, as did the price of diesel. The drop in prices has continued to drop from December 1 to 10.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Commerce released an announcement, stating: regular gasoline costs 4,100 riel (down 100 riel) and diesel costs 4,450 riel (down 200 riel).
Regarding the retail price of fuel, the Ministry of Commerce stated that in order to facilitate the livelihood of the people and with the contribution of fuel distributors, Prime Minister Hun Sen has continued to order the reduction of fuel prices.
