Bahraini Minister of Education attends closing ceremony of Arab Reading Challenge

Minister of Education in Kingdom of Bahrain, Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, attended the closing ceremony of Arab Reading Challenge in Bahraini capital, Manama, which was broadcast live through the channels of this event, on the occasion of the outstanding results achieved by Bahrain in the sixth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge in Dubai.

The event was launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

Minister Al-Nuaimi, in an interview with A24, said that this achievement is added to the series of achievements Bahrain has made during the prosperous era of His Majesty the King in various fields, praising His Majesty’s continuous support for education in Bahrain, which has contributed to this honorable achievement and advancement of the ministry, its programs and development projects.

He added that this achievement is a great motivation for educators to continue exerting efforts to advance education in Bahrain, and make achievements in the field of education.

The results were as follows: Al-Ahed Al-Zahir Secondary School for Girls (a government school in Hamad Town that ranked first among public and private schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain) won third place after qualifying for the final in Arab Reading Challenge, in which 92583 schools participated this year from different Arab countries.
