Supporters of Sadrist movement leader, Muqtada al-Sadr, started today, Tuesday to withdraw from outside the parliament building in the Green Zone and squares in central Baghdad. This came after al-Sadr called on his supporters to withdraw immediately, in conjunction with the decision of the Joint Operations Command today to lift the curfew in all governorates in Iraq. The curfew was imposed yesterday, after clashes between protesters and security forces in the Green Zone in Baghdad, which resulted in the death of 30 people and injury of more than 500. Life has returned to normal in capital Baghdad. Shops are open, traffic and mobility are back to normal, as citizens confirmed.
