The military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement known as the Al Quds Brigades has confirmed the death of Khaled Mansour, commander of its southern Gaza division, in an Israeli strike in Rafah on Saturday. The Iran-supported organization has also announced the death of Tayseer Al Jabari, a senior commander, in a similar strike Friday on Gaza City. The “targeted” Israeli operation killed at least 32 people, including six children, over three days of Israeli airforce strikes, leading to retaliatory rocket fire from Palestinian armed groups -mainly the Islamic Jihad organization. Gaza health officials say the attacks wounded at least 250 residents.
