Violent protests in Aden against rise in fuel prices

Violent protests took place in Al-Mansoura district in Aden against the rise in fuel prices.

Protesters blocked main and back streets in the largest district of Aden Governorate obstructing traffic, as they set fire to damaged tires, and chanted slogans rejecting rise in fuel prices.

The oil company had announced a rise in fuel prices, the price of 20-liter oil can be increased to 25,800 thousand riyals (USD 23), a rise of 3,300 riyals.
