Sri Lanka: Fuel supply to return to normal from tomorrow – Minister

Claiming that fuel supply was restricted during the last few days, Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said today the required diesel and petrol would be released to the market from tomorrow.

He told Parliament that the daily supply of diesel and petrol was limited to 3,200 MTs and 2,800 MTs respectively during the last few days from the daily requirement of 5,400 MT of diesel and 3,400 MT of petrol.

He said 5,000 MT of diesel and 3,500 of petrol would be released to the market from tomorrow.
