Yemeni fishermen at risk of losing their livelihood due to FSO Safer

Yemeni fishermen said that the floating FSO Safer moored at Ras Isa Oil Terminal in Al Hudaydah south of Yemen is cause for concern as an environmental threat in relation to the risk of marine pollution in case of an oil spill, which would cause the fishermen to lose their livelihood.

Fishermen demanded the International Community to put pressure on Houthis who are hindering the offloading of the FSO Safer that is at risk of a sudden oil spill, which would cause marine pollution and loss of the livelihood of fishermen.
