Peru: President leads Council of Ministers session


The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Wednesday led a new session of the Council of Ministers, at which various issues of national interest were addressed for the benefit of the population.

Among the discussed topics were the progress of economic recovery and measures to reactivate the tourism sector, the Government Palace Press Secretary reported.
Besides, the Health Ministry’s report on the COVID-19 vaccination process was evaluated, as well as the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) report on the main results of the “Peru: Monetary Poverty 2021” study, among others.
The event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
