Jordanian journalists condemn the killing of Shireen Abu Aqleh

Many Jordanian journalists and activists staged a sit-in outside Al Jazeera’s office in Amman, to condemn the killing of Palestinian journalist and Al Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Aqleh.

The journalists raised pictures of the Abu Aqleh, and called for those responsible to be held accountable.

The Abu Aqleh’s murder caused widespread outrage locally and internationally, while the director of Al Jazeera’s office in Jordan, Hassan Al-Shobaki, expressed his deep sadness at the loss of a voice that reached every home in Palestine and overseas.
