Young man in Sulaimaniyah turns his talent for shoe polishing into a business

Mohammad Rafiq has been polishing shoes for over 20 years in an alley in Mawlawi street of Sulaimaniyah in Kurdistan Region. He mastered his hobby as a child and turned it into a business.

Mohammad believes that all work is noble and there is no shame in what he does for a living, saying that people respect and support him.

Many expressed their admiration for young Mohammad’s passion and effort to make a living, considering him a great example for youth in Sulaimaniyah.
