Iraq holds a forum to discuss the future of newspapers

The College of Media at the University of Baghdad held a forum on the future of newspapers in Iraq, which was attended by Iraqi journalists and editors-in-chief of a number of leading publications.

The forum also focused on digital transformation, stressing the importance of newspapers despite the technological development and the presence of online platforms. Participants suggested different ideas for sustaining print news and developing forms for online journalism.
