In conjunction with the anniversary of the liberation of the capital, Aden, from the Houthis, the Wefaq Organization for Peace and Human Rights in Aden held a forum entitled “Mosques in the Houthi targeting circle, an Iranian methodology and an inherited sectarian ideology in the capital, Aden”.
The form was opened with a speech by the Head of the External Relations Department of Wifaq Organization and the official in charge of the Middle East file, Dr. Radfan Al-Muflihi, who talked about the importance of holding the forum, especially at present, appreciating the interaction of the participants.
The Adviser to Wifaq Organization, Judge Amr Al-Amrawi, gave a speech in which he stressed that the organization of this important human rights forum comes from the organization’s goals that support the establishment of the principles of peace and humanity and the promotion of the values and principles of tolerance in the world.
He added that the forum emphasizes the importance of respecting religion, religious symbols, civilians, and places of worship, pointing out that Yemeni society has urgently needed to confront the phenomenon of violence and sectarianism promoted by the Houthi militia.
