Basrah holds first exhibition in Iraq of ancient coins and stamps

Iraq held the first exhibition of ancient coins and stamps and rare pieces, which convey some of the Iraqi history. The event was organized by a group of Iraqis who love collecting coins, which is known as the hobby of kings, aiming to introduce young people to the types of currencies that were in circulation.

The exhibition included some rare coins used in the Iraqi state from the monarchy era to the republican era, especially the first, second, and third Iraqi dinars printed in the 1930s and 1940s.
