The Yemeni National Resistance group commemorated, in Mocha city, the first anniversary of the Political Bureau formation, which undertakes the tasks of mobilizing the masses and forging alliances. Several officials, military forces, parliamentarians, tribal leaders, and supporters of national resistance attended the ceremony. The head of the Political Bureau said that the bureau seeks to unify Yemenis against the Houthi coup. He also praised the efforts made to achieve national gains, adding that new alliances will be announced at the right time. Some of the officials and leaders called for conveying the sufferings of Mocha’s residents to the United Nations and its mission in the Al Hudaydah region, and to countries that support peace in Yemen. The National Resistance, led by Tariq Saleh, includes a military force that is deployed along the western coast of Yemen and protects the Bab al-Mandab strait from the Houthis, securing international navigation.
